A Gerringong Lions junior, Stewart progressed through the club’s pathways system with the Steelers.
He spent two seasons playing Harold Matthews Cup and two seasons in SG Ball before making the jump up to Jersey Flegg level in 2023.
A skilful back rower, Stewart made his Knock-On Effect NSW Cup debut in mid-2023 and has since appeared in 17 matches.
The 20-year-old transitions into the club’s NRL squad for 2025 having spent the previous year on a development deal and is under contract until at least the end of the 2026 season.
