The Titans and Dragons are desperate for two crucial competition points when they face off at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Both sides fell in hard-fought contests last week, with Gold Coast going down to the Sharks before St George Illawarra's comeback bid against the Tigers fell short.

The Titans have produced some superb passages of play this year but they have struggled for consistency and are looking to string some wins together to play their way into the top six.

The Dragons have been forced to navigate a host of injuries and suspensions in recent weeks but they are starting to get their best players back on the field.

With a number of future stars in the squad, Saturday's clash provides an opportunity to make a statement on the road.

Team News

Titans: Captain Georgia Hale will start at lock after playing hooker last week and youngster Lily Kolc comes from the bench to start at hooker. Sienna Lofipo, who was named at prop but started at lock last week, is again named to start up front, with Laika Clarke moving back to the bench. Veteran Niall Williams-Guthrie has remained in the extended bench in Friday's team update as she chases her first appearance of the season.

Dragons: With Hannah Southwell serving a two-game ban, Bronte Wilson has been elevated from the bench to start as prop. There are further changes to the bench, with Tahlia O'Brien and Trinity Tauaneai added and Ahlivia Ingram out after suffering a head knock. Tauaneai will need to complete a fitness test on Friday to be cleared to play. Nita Maynard-Perrin's return from a knee injury has been put on hold for another week after she dropped out of the squad in Friday's team update.
