The Eels face another tough challenge this week and after going down to the Broncos, have to regroup to take on the undefeated Roosters.

Parramatta battled gamely during the middle stages of the first half against top-two team Brisbane last week, but in the end were outclassed, going down 38-4 in a game where they only had 45 percent of the possession.

This week, they face an even greater challenge, with the Roosters in red-hot form and fresh from overcoming a strong Knights side 30-14.

That they were able to come away with a convincing points win - spurred by a Tarryn Aiken double - despite only completing at 60 percent is an ominous sign for when they do tidy up.

However, the Eels have shown good spirit all season and have plenty of weapons across the park and will be giving their all to mount an upset.

Team News

Eels: Mia Middleton is set to return from a facial injury to start in the centres, moving the versatile Fleur Ginn to five-eighth in place of Rosemarie Beckett. There is a swap between forwards Tess McWilliams who moves to the bench and Ryvrr-Lee Alo who is named as this week's 18th player. Cook Islands captain Kiana Takairangi has been named in the reserves.

Roosters: Corban Baxter has been ruled out with a low-grade ankle sprain, moving Brydie Parker to fullback. Jayme Fressard is set to start on the wing after making her return via the bench last week. Prop Macie Carlile is the new face on the bench.
