South Sydney have closed out an enthralling day of football with a tight Indigenous Round victory over the Parramatta Eels at Allianz Stadium.

Filling in for the injured Bayleigh Bentley-Hape, Tallis Duncan scored a second-half double to fire his side to the win and help create some breathing room in the battle for the dreaded wooden spoon.

Alex Johnston's quest to break the all-time try-scoring record has been put on hold for another week, with the winger unable to find the line in Saturday's triumph.

Rabbitohs v Eels – Round 24, 2025

Press Conferences

Eels: Round 24

Rabbitohs: Round 24

Full-time: South Sydney have defended their own line for the final minute of the match to hold on for a thrilling victory over the Eels. Parramatta had one last chance to win it, but they turned it over when Dylan Brown was unable to hold on to the ball under heavy pressure from the Rabbitohs defence. South Sydney are now up to 14th on the ladder and should be safe from the dreaded wooden spoon. Rabbitohs 20 - Eels 16.

77th minute: Jye Gray take a bow. The diminutive fullback has produced a desperation try-saver to deny a barnstorming Isaiah Iongi metres short of the try line. Tallis Duncan was involved in the tackle as well and time is now running out for the Eels. Rabbitohs 20 - Eels 16.

Zac Lomax 2nd Try

72nd minute: It didn't take long for Parramatta to capitalise, with Zac Lomax tiptoeing the sideline to finish off a well-executed scrum move. The winger seems to be in a bit of pain after that try and Mitchell Moses took the kick at goal, which drifted just wide. The margin is four with seven minutes to play. Rabbitohs 20 - Eels 16.

71st minute: South Sydney have made another Captain's Challenge, after Tyrone Munro looked to spill the ball in a tackle. It appeared more speculative than anything else and Parramatta have the ball inside the attacking 20 metre zone. Rabbitohs 20 - Eels 12.

Tallis Duncan 2nd Try

66th minute: Tallis Duncan forced the turnover and Tallis Duncan gets the reward moments later with the try. The fill-in centre charged on to a Cody Walker short ball and burst through a gap between Mitchell Moses and Will Penisini to extend his side's lead. Ashton Ward then nailed the conversion to put South Sydney up eight. Rabbitohs 20 - Eels 12.

64th minute: South Sydney have called for a Captain's Challenge after a desperation play by Tallis Duncan. The ball was deflected following a kick, with Duncan diving towards the loose ball as Eels fullback Isaiah Iongi was attempting to pick it up. The referee initially ruled Iongi did not touch it, but the Bunker has spotted a small knock on and the Rabbitohs have a chance to extend their lead. Rabbitohs 14 - Eels 12.

60th minute: Parramatta continue to generate attacking opportunities, but they can't find a way to crack the Rabbitohs defence close to the goal line. On this occasion, Tyrone Munro bundled Josh Addo-Carr into touch to force a turnover. Rabbitohs 14 - Eels 12.

Tallis Duncan 1st Try

54th minute: Tallis Duncan might be a makeshift centre but he's doing a pretty handy job at the moment. Filling in for Bayleigh Bentley-Hape, Duncan got his arm up to fend off Will Penisini and muscle his way over the try line. South Sydney have absorbed plenty of pressure down their own end and now they've capitalised once they've got a chance in attacking territory. Rabbitohs 14 - Eels 12.

Back to back try savers

48th minute: That was an incredible passage of play from both teams. Jack Williams made another line break, with Dylan Brown producing an outrageous flick pass to Isaiah Iongi. Jye Gray, however, was up to the task and made a brilliant try-saving tackle. Dylan Walker then came charging on to the ball, only to be denied by the scrambling Rabbitohs. A Mitchell Moses kick was cleaned up by Gray on the next tackle and South Sydney survive but they remain on the back foot. Rabbitohs 10 - Eels 12.

42nd minute: Rabbitohs forward Jacob Host has been placed on report for a hip-drop tackle that has left Josh Addo-Carr clutching at his foot. The winger is looking to jog it out but remains fairly ginger at the moment. Rabbitohs 10 - Eels 12.

Kick-off: We are back for the second half at Allianz Stadium, with Parramatta kicking off to get play started. South Sydney trail by two but they finished the first half with the upper hand and they're looking to pick up where they left off. Alex Johnston is yet to find the try line and remains three tries behind Ken Irvine on the all-time scoring list. Rabbitohs 10 - Eels 12.

Half-time: This match is evenly poised at the break, with Parramatta holding on to a two-point lead. The Rabbitohs had a late chance to hit the front but the Eels held firm to maintain their advantage. South Sydney's attack looked much more dangerous after Cody Walker joined the fray, while Parramatta have enjoyed plenty of success down the right flank. That is where Bayleigh Bentley-Hape had been defending before he suffered a head knock and was ruled out for the match. Rabbitohs 10 - Eels 12.

Peter Mamouzelos Try

36th minute: Cody Walker's impact on the game has been immediate, with the veteran making a half-break to put his team back on the attack. A couple of set restarts and a penalty followed, before Peter Mamouzelos threw a dummy and darted over from the base of the ruck. Rabbitohs 10 - Eels 12.

33rd minute: We've had an unsuccessful Captain's Challenge from the Eels and it's come at a pivotal moment in the game. Matt Doorey lost the ball in the opening tackle after the kick off, with Parramatta claiming it was a strip. The Bunker ruled otherwise, but the Rabbitohs couldn't capitalise on the attacking set of six and turned it over. Cody Walker has also been injected into the game and he'll look to take over his side's attack. Rabbitohs 4 - Eels 12.

Zac Lomax Try

31st minute: The Eels are starting to flex their muscle and they're attacking down the edge Bayleigh Bentley-Hape had been defending. Will Penisini is capitalising on the mismatch and sent Zac Lomax over for Parramatta's second try of the night. Rabbitohs 4 - Eels 12

26th minute: South Sydney made their first error of the night and the Eels quickly pounced. Ryley Smith broke through after running from dummy half, before he was dragged down by Jye Gray. The Eels made the most of a retreating defence to shift the ball from left to right and Isaiah Iongi scored. Rabbitohs 4 - Eels 8.

20th minute: Concerning signs for South Sydney with Bayleigh Bentley-Hape leaving the field after a head knock. The centre has been placed in the head knock protocols and will not return. Thomas Fletcher enters the fray in his place. Rabbitohs 4 - Eels 2.

Tyrone Munro Try

15th minute: The Eels have largely controlled the opening exchanges of this contest but they have little to show for it on the scoreboard. On this occasion Jack Williams burst through the South Sydney defence before being dragged down close to the line. The following tackle was the last and the kick rolled beyond the dead-ball line to hand South Sydney a seven-tackle set and an attacking opportunity.

Williams splits them

The Rabbitohs didn't need a second invitation and Tyrone Munro crossed in the corner to put his team in front. Rabbitohs 4 - Eels 2.

5th minute: Parramatta have an early lead, with Zac Lomax kicking a penalty goal to put his side up two. In some team news, Joash Papalii, who is sporting a unique new hair style, is playing five-eighth, despite being listed at fullback. Isaiah Iongi is lining up at fullback. Rabbitohs 0 - Eels 2.

Kick-off: We are underway in the second game of the Gadhu Gathering, with Alex Johnston three tries away from equalling Ken Irvine on the all-time try-scorers list. Luca Moretti copped a heavy blow on the opening tackle off the kick off, with the Eels forward in a fair amount of pain. Injuries aside, Parramatta have received a penalty for a strip and will have an early chance to attack. Rabbitohs 0 - Eels 0.

Late Mail

Rabbitohs: No further changes to the side in Saturday's final team update, with Cody Walker's return via the interchange bench locked in. Latrell Mitchell was ruled out on Friday with a back injury. “Latrell won’t play, he pinched a nerve in his back and he’s not mobile enough – hopefully he’s back next week,” Souths coach Wayne Bennett said on Friday. “He did it in the game on the weekend. He played last week when it was Indigenous Round as well. We’re disappointed he’s not playing." Walker is now set to return from a hamstring injury for Indigenous Round. Bentley Bayleigh-Hape moves from wing to centre and Tyrone Munroe is the new winger. Alex Johnston is just three tries away from equalling Ken Irvine's all-time try-scoring record and will start on the other wing.

Eels: Isaiah Iongi's return from a hand injury has been locked in, with the youngster coming into the side at five-eighth in Saturday's 60-minute team update. Dean Hawkins drops out of the squad as a result. One other minor change with Charlie Guymer shifting to the bench and Kelma Tuilagi to start in the back row. Jordan Samrani is the 18th man.

Broncos v Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos v Dolphins – Round 24, 2025

Press Conferences

Dolphins: Round 24

Broncos: Round 24

Full-time: We have a successful Captain's Challenge by the Dolphins in the 80th minute, but it was not enough to overturn a 10-point deficit and the Broncos held firm. The Dolphins looked destined to claim a stunning victory after taking a 28-14 lead early in the first half. A Reece Walsh 40-20 turned the game and the Broncos didn't look back. Three tries in six minutes were enough to put Brisbane in front before Kotoni Staggs sealed the win to solidify his side's place in the eight and keep their top-four chances alive. The result is a major blow to the Dolphins finals hopes, but they remain in the hunt with three games to play. Broncos 38 - Dolphins 28.

78th minute: That could be the ball game. Isaiya Katoa had bamboozled the Broncos defence and created an overlap, however Jake Averillo couldn't handle the catch amid heavy pressure from Josiah Karapani and the opportunity goes begging. Broncos 38 - Dolphins 28.

76th minute: The door is just slightly ajar for the Dolphins after Jordan Riki and Deine Mariner had a minor miscommunication. The Dolphins start their set on halfway and need to strike quickly if they are to reel the Broncos in. Broncos 38 - Dolphins 28.

72nd minute: A big defensive play for the Dolphins to defend their own line, but they receive the ball just metres out from their own line. Yardage sets have been tough work throughout the second half and they need an attacking spark to get their set started. Broncos 38 - Dolphins 28.

Kotoni Staggs 2nd Try

68th minute: Ben Hunt is showcasing exactly why the Broncos were so desperate to get him back in Brisbane. With Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam out injured, the veteran has stepped into the halfback role and taken control tonight. Hunt produced a pinpoint kick for Kotoni Stagges, who outleapt Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to extend his side's lead. The Dolphins must respnd quickly if they are to get back into this one. Broncos 38 - Dolphins 28.

63rd minute: It feels like every moment in this game is crucial and we've just had another one. Brisbane dropped the ball in the first set after points, with the Dolphins threatening to hit back. The Broncos, however, scrambled superbly to deny their opponents and hold on to their lead. Broncos 32 - Dolphins 28.

Ben Talty Try

60th minute: The Broncos have their first lead of the night, with Ben Talty pouncing on a Ben Hunt grubber to score his side's third try in the space of six minutes. The attacking opportunity came after an error in the play the ball by Jamayne Isaako, with Brisbane quickly capitalising. All the momentum is with the hosts and the Dolphins need someone to step up to swing this game back in their favour. Broncos 32 - Dolphins 28.

Josiah Karapani Try

55th minute: We have a try of the year contender from the Broncos, who have gone bang-bang to set Suncorp Stadium alight. Reece Walsh was again in the thick of the action, putting Kotoni Staggs through a hole, before the ball found its way infield to Billy Walters. The five-eighth beat a tackle and then produced a perfect cross-field kick to Josiah Karapani to score a sensational try. Broncos 26 - Dolphins 28.

Deine Mariner Try

Walsh nails a 40/20

52nd minute: The Broncos are not going to go down without a fight. Reece Walsh produced a superb 40-20 before Ben Hunt laid it on for Deine Mariner to strike. Brisbane have shown they can score points from anywhere and will take advantage if the Dolphins switch off. Broncos 20 - Dolphins 28.

Jeremy Marshall-King Try

50th minute: The Dolphins have burst out of the gates to start the second half and they've made Brisbane pay for the wayward kick off. After threatening on multiple successive plays, Jeremy Marshall-King took advantage of a scrambling defensive line to throw a dummy and dart over from dummy half. Broncos 14 - Dolphins 28.

46th minute: The Dolphins have stretched their lead beyond a converted try, with Jamayne Isaako slotting another penalty goal in front of 44,350 fans at Suncorp Stadium. The penalty goal was followed up by a big error from Reece Walsh, who sent the kick-off out on the full. Dolphins have another chance to attack. Broncos 14 - Dolphins 22.

Trai Fuller Try

Kick-off: Trai Fuller has lit up Suncorp Stadium just 30 seconds into the second half. Playing his first NRL game of the season after tearing his ACL last year, the fullback charged on to the ball down the short side and burst through an uneven Broncos defensive line. That is exactly the start the Dolphins wanted with both team's seasons on the line. Broncos 14 - Dolphins 20.

Half-time: We are all locked up at the break after a frenetic end to the first half. Kotoni Staggs took it to Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow down the right edge and nearly broke through, however the Dolphins centre was up to the task and forced a turnover. A penalty for a high tackle then gave the Dolphins one last chance to strike, but Isaiya Katoa's efforts to set up a field goal were thwarted and the Broncos held firm. Broncos 14 - Dolphins 14.

Reece Walsh Try

37th minute: It's a ding-dong battle at Suncorp Stadium and now it's the Broncos' turn to produce some exhilarating attack. Brisbane shifted the ball from inside their own half before Gehamat Shibasaki surged past Jake Averillo. The centre linked up with Reece Walsh on the inside and levelled the scores on the stroke of half-time. Broncos 14 - Dolphins 14.

Jake Averillo Try

32nd minute: The Broncos have largely controlled this contest but the Dolphins have capitalised on the limited opportunities they have received. Brisbane were rolling until Pat Carrigan gave away a penalty for a high tackle and the Dolphins promptly made their opponents pay. Jake Averillo got himself on the outside of Gehamat Shibasaki and sliced his way through, in a similar fashion to Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow's try on the other side of the field. Broncos 8 - Dolphins 14.

28th minute: We're back level, with Reece Walsh slotting a penalty goal of his own. The fullback has been in the thick of the action and produced a kick return that put his team on the front foot and ultimately laid the foundation for the Broncos to work their way into attacking field position. Broncos 8 - Dolphins 8.

25th minute: Jamayne Isaako has put the Dolphins up two points with a successful penalty goal. The goal came after Isaiya Katoa was collected high by Reece Walsh on the last tackle, with the Dolphins successfully challenging the decision. Broncos 6 - Dolphins 8.

Kotoni Staggs Try

20th minute: Kotoni Staggs was beaten defensively a few minutes ago, but he's more than made up for it with ball in hand. Reece Walsh sucked Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow in just enough for Staggs to get on his outside and he burst through the gap before holding off Tabuai-Fidow to slam the ball down.

The good news on the field has been tempered by bad news off it, with Jack Gosiewski ruled out for the match with that AC joint injury. Broncos 6 - Dolphins 6.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow Try

15th minute: The decision to move Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to the centres has produced an early result, with the Maroons star getting to the outside of Kotoni Staggs and slicing his way through to open the scoring. Halfback Isaiya Katoa double-pumped before throwing the last pass to fix the defence and lay the foundation for his centre. Broncos 0 - Dolphins 6.

12th minute: Now it's the Dolphins to have a potential try sent upstairs. Winger Tevita Naufahu was racing Kotoni Staggs for the corner, with Staggs getting just enough contact on Naufahu to force his left arm into touch moments before he grounded the ball with his right arm.

Meanwhile, Jack Gosiewski has succumbed to the shoulder injury and has been replaced by Jaiyden Hunt. Early indications are it's an AC joint injury. Broncos 0 - Dolphins 0.

8th minute: An early Brisbane try has gone begging, with the hosts producing a superb left-shift. The pass to winger Josiah Karapani was just wide of the mark and the Dolphins survive. Broncos 0 - Dolphins 0.

5th minute: The Broncos have burst out of the blocks with an early chance to strike and we have a trip to the Bunker. Jordan Riki looked to have grounded the loose ball after a contest for a bomb, however the Broncos forward knocked it on while in the air. There has been some early concern for Brisbane second rower Jack Gosiewski who looked to have picked up a shoulder injury, however he is playing on for now.

The Broncos remain on the attack after the Dolphins spilled the ball for the second time in the opening six minutes. Broncos 0 - Dolphins 0.

Kick-off: We are underway at a sold-out Suncorp Stadium for the sixth edition of the Battle for Brisbane. Both sides need a win after last-start losses, with top-eighth spots on the line. The Dolphins claimed a crucial win at the back end of last season, but the Broncos got one back in Round 4 this year. Broncos 0 - Dolphins 0.

Stat Attack

  • The Broncos have scored 184 points in their last five games at Suncorp Stadium.
  • Dolphins fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has scored 16 tries in his last 10 games at Suncorp.
  • The Broncos have lost their last six games without Adam Reynolds.
  • Dolphins centre Jake Averillo has scored five tries in his last four games against the Broncos.
  • Broncos centre Kotoni Staggs has scored five tries in his last six games at Suncorp.

Late Mail

Broncos: Ben Hunt and Billy Walters are set to link up in the halves after Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam suffered hamstring injuries last week. Selwyn Cobbo is also hamstrung, with Josiah Karapani coming on to the wing. Walters' shift to five-eighth has seen Cory Paix move to hooker and Tyson Gamble has been added to the bench. No late changes on game day. Jesse Arthars is the 18th man.

Dolphins: One late change for the Dolphins with Kenny Bromwich dropping out of the side on game day. Peter Hola comes on to the bench as a result, with James Walsh the 18th man. Kristian Woolf also made a change on Friday, with the inclusion of Trai Fuller to fullback moving Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow into the centres in the big change for the Dolphins a day out from the game.

Sharks v Titans at Sharks Stadium

Titans: Round 24

Sharks: Round 24

Sharks v Titans – Round 24, 2025

Full-time: Up, Up Cronulla is ringing out around Sharks Stadium after a commanding victory over the Titans. The 54-22 win was exactly what they needed after last week's shock loss to the Dragons, with Cronulla piling on the points this afternoon. With the bye next week, the Sharks have solidified their place in the top eight and remain a chance of a top-four finish. The hosts were dealt a blow in the first half, however, with Cam McInnes injuring his knee and set for scans. As for the Titans, it was a tough afternoon and they'll need a quick turnaround if they want to climb off the bottom of the ladder. Sharks 54 - Titans 22

Joshua Patston Try

76th minute: Gold Coast have another late try and Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon will be disappointed his side has switched off late. This time it's Josh Patston who has crashed over to score the first try of his NRL career. Sharks 54 - Titans 22.

Phillip Sami Try

73rd minute: The Titans have something to celebrate, with Phil Sami latching on to a loose ball and racing 30 metres to score his side's third try of the day. Sharks 54 - Titans 16

Sione Katoa 2nd Try

66th minute: Sione Katoa has a double now, with the winger scoring his second down the right flank. Katoa had some work to do to find the try line but he stepped past a couple of defenders to extend his side's lead. Sharks 54 - Titans 10.

Tuku Hau Tapuha Try

65th minute: Cronulla have raised the half century, with hulking prop Tuku Hau Tapuha crashing over from short range for the second try of his career. In some positive news for the Titans, Keano Kini has been injected into the contest for his first game since suffering a neck injury in Round 3. The exciting outside back underwent surgery and has endured a lengthy recovery process to get back on the field. Sharks 50 - Titans 10.

Sione Katoa 1st Try

60th minute: Cronulla have been rewarded for their desperation at the defensive end, with Sione Katoa joining in on the fun. The winger spilled the ball with the line wide open earlier in the second half, but there was no denying him this time and the points continue to flow at Sharks Stadium. Sharks 44 - Titans 10.

Ronaldo to the rescue

58th minute: The Sharks may lead by 30, but that hasn't stopped Ronaldo Mulitalo from producing a desperate try-saving tackle to deny Jaylan De Groot. Tuku Hau Tapuha spilled the ball on the quick return and Gold Coast quickly shifted for De Groot, who put his head down and sprinted to the corner. Mulitalo got there just in time to dive forward and knock the winger into touch before he could ground the ball.

Positive news for the Titans, with captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui passing his HIA and preparing to return to the field. Sharks 40 - Titans 10.

Ronaldo Mulitalo 2nd Try

55th minute: It's a feeding frenzy for the Sharks at the moment, with the hosts taking advantage of another Gold Coast error. Nicho Hynes orchestrated another superb left-edge shift, the halfback producing a perfect pass for Ronaldo Mulitalo, who has two tries in the space of four minutes. Sharks 40 - Titans 10.

Ronaldo Mulitalo 1st Try

52nd minute: AJ Brimson spilled another bomb and the Sharks have capitalised to score the first points of the second half. It was a superb left-edge shift, with Sifa Talakai doing an excellent job to get the ball to his winger and Ronaldo Mulitalo crossed for his 41st try from 41 games at Sharks Stadium. The winger has now become the first Shark to score 10 or more tries in six-straight seasons. Sharks 34 - Titans 10.

Things you don't see everyday

45th minute: A big blow for the Titans now, with captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui sent from the field for a HIA. The lock was involved in a heavy collision with Cronulla's Sifa Talakai, who sent Fa'asuamaleaui reeling backwards to the turf. Sharks 28 - Titans 10.

Kick-off: We are back underway at Sharks Stadium, with the Titans desperate to strike first as they look to reel in an 18-point deficit. Some early concern for Cronulla, with winger Sione Katoa picking up an ankle injury after Reagan Campbell-Gillard landed awkwardly on his leg in a tackle. Katoa will stay on the field for now, but will continue to be monitored. Cronulla are already without captain Cam McInnes, who picked up a knee injury in the first half. Sharks 28 - Titans 10.

Half time: The Cronulla entertainers are back in business, with Will Kennedy finishing off another long-range effort on the stroke of half time to cap a superb 40 minutes of football. The Sharks attacked down the right edge and broke through the defensive line before Mawene Hiroti kicked inside for Kennedy, who got a perfect bounce and scored his side's fifth try of the clash.

William Kennedy Try

It's a big blow for the Titans, who have plenty of work to do after the break to overturn an 18-point deficit. Sharks 28 - Titans 10.

The Sharks are turning the screws

34th minute: A big blow for the Sharks with Cameron McInnes ruled out for the remainder of the contest. The skipper has ice on his knee, with medical staff saying it is unstable.

On the field, Mulitalo has forced another result from a bomb. Jaylan De Groot took the catch this time, but he was quickly bundled into touch by the Cronulla winger. Sharks 22 - Titans 10.

Braydon Trindall Try

33rd minute: Another bomb has drawn a result for the Sharks, with Ronaldo Mulitalo again contesting a Braydon Trindall kick to tap the ball back for his teammates. Trindall was the beneficiary on this occasion, chasing his kick to score. Sharks 22 - Titans 10.

Nicholas Hynes 2nd Try

26th minute: This time it's Cronulla who have gone bang-bang, with Nicho Hynes scoring his second. Centre Mawene Hiroti can claim the credit, stepping past Beau Fermor to break free around midfield before linking up with Hynes for the Sharks' third. Sharks 18 - Titans 10

Jesse Colquhoun Try

24th minute: Jesse Colquhoun has been on the field for 20 seconds and he's scored a try with his first touch of the ball. It's the first try of his NRL career, with the interchange forward picking up a loose ball after Ronaldo Mulitalo tapped back a bomb and the Sharks are back in front.

Colquhoun had replaced Cam McInnes, who has headed straight into the sheds for treatment on a knee injury. Sharks 12 - Titans 10.

Beau Fermor Try

17th minute: The Titans have silenced a stunned crowd at Sharks Stadium with Kieran Foran putting AJ Brimson through a hole with a superb inside ball. The fullback then linked up with Beau Fermor, who strolled over the line. Sharks 6 - Titans 10

Jaylan De Groot Try

15th minute: The Titans have struck back, but it's not the way you could have anticipated. Gold Coast's attacking set of six ended with a seven-tackle set, before a penalty put the Sharks straight back on the attack. Tony Francis intercepted a Nicho Hynes pass, before linking up with winger Jaylan De Groot who held off Will Kennedy to score his side's first points of the day. Sharks 6 - Titans 6.

Great goal-line defence

11th minute: A big defensive stand by the Sharks, with Nicho Hynes producing a superb try-saving tackle before Ronaldo Mulitalo safely defused a bomb. The pressure builds, however, with Blayke Brailey unable to gather an offload and the Titans have a fresh set of six to attack. Sharks 6 - Titans 0.

Nicholas Hynes Try

5th minute: It's a dream start for the Sharks with Nicho Hynes taking advantage of a quick play the ball to open the scoring. Hynes looked up and saw fullback AJ Brimson was in the defensive line, kicked over the top and won the race to the ball to score. Sharks 6 - Titans 0.

Wonderful scenes at Shark Park

Kick-off: We are underway at Sharks Stadium with Cronulla looking to bounce back from last week's shock loss to the Dragons. The Gold Coast have shown some promising signs in the past month as they battle to avoid the wooden spoon but they need to turn that into victories to climb up the ladder. Sharks 0 - Titans 0.

  • The Titans have not won at Shark Park since 2017.

Tuku Hau Tapuha has also been added to the bench after Braden Hamlin-Uele was ruled out with a skin infection.
