Super Saturday served up a time-honoured local derby, a do-or-die fight for a finals spot and a top-four showdown between two title contenders eager to bounce back after losses.
We kicked off in Dragons heartland at Jubilee Stadium where the Red V cut down their second tall poppy in as many weeks with a 22-14 win over the Sharks.
The Roosters then ran riot at Suncorp Stadium to well and truly keep their finals dreams alive. The 64-12 scoreline was the biggest defeat in Dolphins history.
The final game of a pivotal Saturday saw the Bulldogs control the game brilliantly in trying conditions at Accor Stadium to wrap up a comprehensive win over the Warriors.
The Warriors' loss sees them drop out of the top four with games against the Dragons, Titans, Eels and Sea Eagles to come.
