Parramatta will be aiming to draw on the same reserves of resilience and spirit that saw them defeat the Dragons when they host the Cowboys who are looking to bounce back from their Magic Round loss.

Led by a strong individual showing from PNG powerhouse forward Elsie Albert who sparked their second-half comeback with a try that saw her beat five defenders, the Eels were able to back a 12-10 win, but it came at a cost.

Cassey Tohi-Hiku, Rory Owen and Kennedy Cherrington all joined the club's casualty ward, meaning coach Steve Georgallis and his team will need all his side's emerging and experienced players to take it up a notch against North Queensland.

The third-ranked Cowboys started well against the Warriors, but fell away after scoring the opening try of the game and will be looking to reset when they take on the fourth-placed Eels.

Team News

Eels: Emerging back Fleur Ginn has been named to start at centre in place of the injured Rory Owen. Rosemarie Beckett comes in for Cassey Tohi-Hiku at five-eighth after making a successful return from injury via the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership. Tohi-Hiku injured her ankle in last week's win over the Dragons. Kennedy Cherrington has also been ruled out after suffering a concussion last week, with Tess McWilliams and Tyla Amiatu the new faces on the bench.

Cowboys: Captain Kirra Dibb has earned a recall and will play her first game since Round 2. The playmaker has been named at five-eighth and will partner Tahlulah Tillett in the halves. Rosie Kelly moves to the reserves as a result. A couple of minor changes to the forward pack, with Lily Peacock moving from the bench to the starting side and Lillian Yarrow reverting to the bench. Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell has also been named to start, with Essay Banu on the interchange, however the duo have made a late swap in the past two weeks. Lily Dick comes on to the bench for Najvada George.
