Eels v Knights: Church takes flight; Southwell leads the way

It's three v four in the NRLW with the Eels at home at Eric Tweedale Stadium hosting the Knights, with both teams buoyed by big wins.

After going down in Round 2, Parramatta bounced back in a big way in their 46-12 victory over the Raiders, with Rory Owen scoring a double and skipper Mahalia Murphy also crossing the line in her injury return.

Halfback Rachael Pearson also scored a try and booted seven from eight conversions for a total of 18 points, shifting her to the top of this year's points scoring tally.

The Knights also recorded a good win, with their halfback Jesse Southwell pulling the strings as Newcastle downed the Warriors 36-20.

It was a dominant opening half with the Knights blowing the visitors away with a 24-6 lead at the halftime break and they were also able to quash a fighting comeback in the second half to post back-to-back wins.
